Sandy Guthrie, Cake Designer & Owner of Cascade Confections, loves the imaginative process that goes into creating an exceptional cake for any event. Inspired by your ideas and wishes, she will help create the perfect cake centerpiece for your special occasion.
She has completed many courses for buttercream and fondant cake design, including the Notter School of Pastry Arts for chocolate creations, Colette Peters, Sweet Southern Ladies, and Mike McCarey, and also specializes in handmade Sugar Flowers taught to her by Experts Elizabeth Parvu, Nicholas Lodge and Betty VanNorstrand.
Cascade Confections, in partnership with Coco Charlotte Gourmet Bakery in Grand Rapids will help you with your planning and design requirements to make your cake the focus of your party. Whatever the occasion, from first glance to the final morsel eaten at your reception, we will make each bite a memory to savor.
